Vanessa and her team of teens help us understand communication within our family.
In this interview we talked about motivating teens and tweens, how we can communicate without depowerizing and how we can get our teens to talk about hard stuff. The most important part is being open, honest and showing each other that there is deep love there.
If you have good communication, drugs are not a problem.
If you have good communication, lying is not a problem.
If you have good communication, self-esteem is not a problem.
Vanessa Van Petten helps you learn what’s really going on in your child’s life, and most importantly — understand when to put your foot down and when to let go.
“I am young enough to get kids to open up and old enough to be a translator for parents- conveying and deciphering the true intent behind harsh words and action.”
